Changing into something less recognizable when the Cops are after you will reduce your Wanted Level instantly.
As will committing less crimes, causing less trouble and getting a proper job.
- You cannot join a Job while you have a Wanted Level, however you can have it removed for a small fee.
- Cops will recognise stolen vehicles until they are re-sprayed.
- Using disguises will help you lose the Cops. You can equip different accessories in the Inventory within the Interaction Menu before committing a crime – then, while your Wanted Level is flashing, you can instantly lose a star by removing or changing your accessories.
- Hide off the streets, in tunnels, in parking lots or anywhere under or above ground to try and stay hidden from the Cops.
- If you really need to get rid of the Cops in a hurry then call Lester, he can bribe them – for a fee.
