In an interview with IGN, GTA Online producers and lead mission designer Imran Sarwar shared many details about GTA Online Heists, how they work and how many of your friends will be able to play with you was majority of the interview.
After many months of designing, testing, rewriting and re-testing, we settled on the four-player structure that you will experience in the game. It took a ton of work from our programmers and mission designers to make it work at the level we were happy with.
GTA Online Heists will be available early 2015 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
GTA V releases on January 27, 2015. So I’m guessing that around that time, most likely after the launch of the PC version we will see the Heists update.
